MTI Ltd. organized several customised training programs during the fiscal years 2016-17, 2017-18 & 2018-19 for the Ministry of Food, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. A total of 78 participants attended the training programs in different batches at several countries. Renowned training institutes & universities at the destination countries took charge of organizing fruitful and effective training for the participants. Multiple training methods were applied for imparting practical and useful training.
Participants gained knowledge on food safety, security, handling and management system in the destination countries. Visits to best example sites were undertaken to inspect food storage, understand the food processing system, supply chain management, and latest technological applications in the field of food safety and security. Meetings were held with the experts as well as different government and non- government offices.
An 11-member team attended a program on ‘Experience-Sharing of Policy Interaction Activities on Food Safety, Quality and Supply Chain Management in Canada & Mexico’ during 08 – 18 October 2018 under the ‘Construction of 1.05 Lakh M.T. Capacity New Food Godowns (1st Revised)’ project implemented by the Directorate of Food, Ministry of Food.
