The MTI successfully managed the ‘Exposure Visit on Transgender Community Livelihood Development Program of Hijras in Sri Lanka’ from 25 February to 01 March 2018. The total numbers of participants was nine (09). During the tour to Sri Lanka, the participants visited the District Social Welfare Office and shared experiences and expertise with officials. They also visited the Ministry of Social Empowerment and Welfare, and the Kandyan Heritage site.
