Building Capacity for Impact Assessment in Italy

Measuring the true effectiveness of a health program goes beyond tracking activities; it requires a deep understanding of its real-world impact. In partnership with the National Institute of Population Research and Training (NIPORT), MTI Ltd. managed a specialized training program in Italy on "Health Sector Project-Program Impact Assessment and Indicator Measurement." This course equipped officials with the sophisticated analytical skills needed to evaluate whether health initiatives are achieving their intended outcomes, ensuring that public resources are directed toward programs that deliver proven results for the population.

Adopting Innovative Financing Models: Program for Result (PforR) in Morocco

Shifting from traditional funding methods to results-based financing is a global trend that enhances accountability and drives performance. MTI Ltd. organized a high-level study visit to Morocco for the Sector Wide Program Management & Monitoring (Planning) Wing of the MoHFW to gain firsthand experience with the "Program for Result" (PforR) financing model. PforR links the disbursement of funds directly to the achievement of specific, measurable results. By studying Morocco's successful implementation of this model, the Bangladeshi delegation gained critical insights into designing and managing financing mechanisms that incentivize efficiency and tangible health outcomes.
