Training on Capacity Building and Skill Development in Malaysia

Continuing the comprehensive capacity enhancement for the National Academy of Social Services, Management and Training International (MTI) Ltd. managed the training for the second batch of officials under this vital project. This program was designed to provide in-depth knowledge of Malaysia's advanced social security systems.

From August 8-17, 2018, a team of 12 officials traveled to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for an intensive program on ‘Capacity Building and Skill Development.’ The training was conducted at the renowned School of Professional and Continuing Education (UTMSPACE), providing a world-class academic environment for the participants.

The curriculum emphasized interactive learning, featuring dynamic classroom discussions and collaborative group-sharing sessions. This methodology allowed the participants to not only learn about Malaysia's ‘Integrated Life Cycle Based Social Security Activities’ but also to contextualize and discuss these approaches in relation to Bangladesh's own social welfare framework.

To provide a holistic and enriching experience, the intensive training schedule was complemented by visits to significant cultural and historical sites, offering the delegation a deeper appreciation of the host country.

This successful program in Malaysia, expertly managed by MTI, equipped the officials from the National Academy of Social Services with valuable new perspectives and practical skills, empowering them to enhance the quality of social service training and delivery back home.
