Empowering Over 240,000 Adolescents: MTI Leads Nationwide Karate Training for Kishore Kishori Clubs

In a landmark initiative to build a safer and more empowered future generation, Management and Training International (MTI) Ltd. has been entrusted by the Department of Women Affairs to implement the nationwide karate training component of the 'Establishment of Kishore Kishori Club Project'. This ambitious project aims to equip approximately 244,150 adolescents with vital self-defense skills across 4,883 clubs in 492 Upazilas.

A Vision for a Stronger, Safer Generation

The Kishore Kishori Club project is a visionary effort to create a supportive and positive environment for adolescents aged 10-19. Beyond karate, the clubs provide crucial awareness training on preventing child marriage, gender-based violence, and eve-teasing. The inclusion of karate training is a strategic move to directly address personal safety and build resilience among the youth.

More Than Self-Defense: The Holistic Impact of Karate

The training program, managed by MTI, is designed to deliver multi-faceted benefits that go far beyond physical techniques. The key outcomes include:

  • Enhanced Self-Confidence: Empowering adolescents, particularly girls, with the confidence to navigate public and private spaces safely.
  • Physical Fitness and Discipline: Instilling a sense of discipline, focus, and physical well-being.
  • Personal Safety and Security: Providing practical and effective self-defense skills to deter harassment and violence.
  • Positive Social Development: Reducing engagement in social adolescent crime and fostering a positive attitude, developing ideal future citizens for a "Smart Bangladesh".
