Building Bangladesh's Startup Ecosystem: MTI's Landmark Training Partnership with the iDEA Project

In line with the "Digital Bangladesh" vision, the Government of Bangladesh launched the pioneering Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy (iDEA) project to create a national entrepreneurship platform. MTI Ltd. was honored to be selected as the Training Management Firm to organize and execute a massive nationwide local training program, designed to foster innovation, create jobs, and build a vibrant startup ecosystem.

A Nationwide Initiative to Empower Entrepreneurs

As the Training Service Provider, MTI Ltd. was responsible for the end-to-end management and implementation of a diverse range of training programs across 9 divisional districts of Bangladesh. The initiative successfully reached over 2,590 participants through 42 batches of both offline and online training, exceeding the initial targets and demonstrating the immense enthusiasm for entrepreneurship across the country.

Comprehensive Curriculum for Startup Success

The training was designed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the 360-degree knowledge required to build a successful startup. The curriculum covered a wide array of critical topics, including:

• Foundational Concepts: Basics of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, & Start-up Methodologies.
• Product Development: Prototyping/MVP, Market Analysis, and Business Analytics.
• Business Strategy: Business Modeling, Sales & Marketing, and Scalability Development.
• Financial & Operational Management: Funding & Investment, Pitching Skills, HR, Finance, and Legal/IP Policy.
• Advanced Training: Specialized courses on Frontier Technologies and a Training of Trainers (ToT) program to build a sustainable ecosystem of mentors.

A Collaborative and Impactful Execution

MTI successfully organized the program by collaborating with renowned local universities, training institutes, and existing startups, ensuring the highest quality of instruction. The training employed a blend of modern methodologies, including classroom lectures, practical demonstrations, hands-on workshops, field visits, and pitch presentations. According to post-training evaluations, the program was overwhelmingly successful, with participants reporting significant improvements in their knowledge and skills, and praising the instructors and overall management.
