IMED Enhances Skills with Scenic Residential Training in Bandarban
A 27-member team of officials and staff from the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) successfully completed a five-day residential training program in the picturesque hill district of Bandarban. Held from November 21-25, 2024, this was the tenth training batch organized under the "Capacity Enhancement for Effective Practice of Result Based M&E System in IMED (CEEPRM & ESI) (1st Revised)" project.
The program was inaugurated with a virtual address by the Honorable Secretary of IMED, Mr. Abul Kashem Md. Mohiuddin, who participated as the Chief Guest and lead trainer. His guidance set a forward-looking tone for the workshop, which featured a robust curriculum focused on project monitoring, results-based evaluation, quality control, and the practical application of ICT for enhanced project oversight.

The residential format in Bandarban's unique setting provided an excellent platform for immersive learning and collaboration. Beyond the intensive academic sessions, the program included educational visits to iconic local landmarks such as the Meghla Parjatan Complex and the breathtaking hills of Nilgiri. These excursions offered participants a unique opportunity to experience the region's natural beauty and foster camaraderie.
