IMED Concludes 9th Batch of Capacity Building Training in Cox's Bazar
A 27-member team of officials and staff from the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) has successfully completed a five-day residential training program in Cox's Bazar. Held from November 7-11, 2024, this was the ninth training batch under the "Capacity Enhancement for Effective Practice of Result Based M&E System in IMED (CEEPRM & ESI) (1st Revised)" project.
The program was inaugurated with a virtual address from the Honorable Secretary of IMED, Mr. Abul Kashem Md. Mohiuddin, who served as the Chief Guest and lead trainer. His active participation highlighted the division's strong commitment to enhancing its personnel's skills. The comprehensive curriculum focused on project monitoring, evaluation methodologies, and the practical application of ICT to improve project oversight and transparency.

Hosted at Cox's Bazar International University, the residential training provided an immersive learning environment. The program was designed not only for skill enhancement but also to foster collaboration among the participants. A recreational visit to the world-famous Cox's Bazar sea beach provided a refreshing break and an opportunity for team building outside the classroom.

The training concluded with a formal certificate awarding ceremony, recognizing the participants' dedication and successful completion of the course. This initiative is a vital part of IMED's ongoing efforts to build a highly skilled and efficient workforce capable of driving effective project implementation for national development.
