IMED Enhances M&E Skills with Immersive Training in Kuakata
A 27-member team of officials and staff from the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) successfully completed a five-day residential training program in the scenic coastal town of Kuakata, Patuakhali. Held from October 10-14, 2024, this was the seventh training batch organized under the "Capacity Enhancement for Effective Practice of Result Based M&E System in IMED (CEEPRM & ESI) (1st Revised)" project.
The program was inaugurated with a virtual address by the Honorable Secretary of IMED, Mr. Abul Kashem Md. Mohiuddin, who served as the Chief Guest and lead trainer. His guidance set a forward-looking tone for the workshop. The training, managed on-site by Project Director Mr. Muhammad Mashiur Rahman and Deputy Project Director Mr. Mohammad Moazzem Hossain, featured a comprehensive curriculum focused on project monitoring, results-based evaluation, and the practical application of modern ICT tools to improve project oversight.

The residential format provided an excellent platform for immersive learning and team building. Beyond the intensive academic sessions, the program included an educational field visit to Fatrar Char, a part of the picturesque Tengragiri Wildlife Sanctuary. This excursion offered participants a unique opportunity to connect with nature and foster camaraderie outside the formal learning environment.

The training concluded with a formal certificate awarding ceremony, celebrating the participants' dedication and newly acquired skills. This initiative marks another successful step in IMED’s ongoing mission to build a highly skilled and efficient workforce, ensuring the highest standards of project implementation and accountability for national development.
