IMED Enhances Capacity with Residential Training in Scenic Rangamati
A 27-member team of officials and staff from the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) successfully completed an immersive five-day residential training program in Rangamati. Held from June 6-10, 2024, this capacity-building initiative was the third batch organized under the "Capacity Enhancement for Effective Practice of Result Based M&E System in IMED (CEEPRM & ESI)" project.
The program was inaugurated by Mr. Md. Jahir Raihan, Additional Secretary (Admin) of IMED. Throughout the week, participants engaged in expert-led academic sessions on project monitoring, evaluation methodologies, and the integration of modern ICT tools. In a notable virtual address, the Honorable Secretary of IMED, Mr. Abul Kashem Md. Mohiuddin, shared his valuable insights with the trainees, emphasizing the importance of continuous skill development for effective national project oversight.

The residential format provided a unique opportunity for deep learning and team building. Beyond the intensive classroom sessions, the program included educational visits to iconic local landmarks such as the Shuvolong Waterfalls and the Hanging Bridge of Rangamati, enriching the participants' experience and fostering a strong sense of camaraderie.

The training concluded with a certificate awarding ceremony, celebrating the successful upskilling of IMED's personnel. This initiative reinforces IMED's commitment to strengthening its internal capacity, ensuring that its staff are equipped with the latest knowledge and tools to drive excellence in project implementation across Bangladesh.
