IMED Enhances Staff Capacity with Immersive Training in Satkhira
A 27-member team of officials and staff from the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) has successfully completed a five-day residential training program in Satkhira. Running from July 4-8, 2024, this was the fourth batch of training under the "Capacity Enhancement for Effective Practice of Result Based M&E System in IMED (CEEPRM & ESI)" project.
The program was inaugurated by a host of distinguished guests, with Honorable Secretary of IMED, Mr. Abul Kashem Md. Mohiuddin, serving as the Chief Guest and lead trainer. His presence underscored the high priority placed on continuous professional development within the division. Participants engaged in comprehensive sessions covering project monitoring, evaluation techniques, and the application of modern ICT tools to enhance efficiency and transparency.

The immersive residential format provided a unique opportunity for both learning and team building. In addition to the rigorous academic curriculum, the program included an educational field visit to the majestic Sundarbans, allowing participants to experience one of Bangladesh's greatest natural treasures while fostering camaraderie outside the classroom.

The training concluded with a formal certificate awarding ceremony, celebrating the participants' dedication and newly acquired skills. This initiative marks another successful step in IMED's ongoing efforts to strengthen its workforce, ensuring the highest standards of project oversight for national development.
