IMED Boosts Staff Skills with Residential Training in Sreemangal
A diverse group of 27 officials and staff from the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) successfully completed an intensive five-day residential training program in the scenic setting of Sreemangal, Moulvibazar. Held from May 30 to June 3, 2024, this was the second batch of training under the "Capacity Enhancement for Effective Practice of Result Based M&E System in IMED (CEEPRM & ESI)" project.
The program was designed to enhance the skills of IMED’s 2nd, 3rd, and 4th class personnel in key areas of project oversight. The curriculum featured expert-led academic sessions on project monitoring, results-based evaluation, the importance of SDGs, and practical ICT applications. The training was honored by the presence of IMED Secretary Mr. Abul Kashem Md. Mohiuddin, who participated as the Chief Guest and lead trainer, providing invaluable guidance.

The residential nature of the workshop fostered a strong sense of camaraderie and collaboration among the participants from various sectors and departments of IMED. Beyond the formal sessions, evening activities provided a relaxed environment for networking and team building, further enriching the learning experience.

The program concluded with a formal certificate awarding ceremony, celebrating the participants' dedication and successful completion of the course. This initiative represents another key step in strengthening the operational capacity of IMED, ensuring its staff are well-equipped to drive effective project monitoring and evaluation across Bangladesh.
