IMED Concludes 14th Capacity Building Training in Scenic Sylhet
A 27-member team of officials and staff from the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) successfully completed an intensive five-day residential training program in the lush green landscapes of Sylhet. Held from May 27-31, 2025, this was the 14th training batch organized under the "Capacity Enhancement for Effective Practice of Result Based M&E System in IMED (CEEPRM & ESI) (1st Revised)" project.
The program was honored by the presence of the Honorable Secretary of IMED, Mr. Md. Kamal Uddin, who attended as the Chief Guest and lead trainer. His active participation and valuable insights underscored the program's importance. The training, hosted at the Sanchita Training Center, featured a comprehensive curriculum focused on project monitoring, evaluation frameworks, and the practical application of ICT to enhance project oversight.

The residential format provided an excellent opportunity for immersive learning and collaboration. Beyond the intensive classroom sessions, the program included an educational field visit to one of Sylhet's renowned scenic destinations. This excursion provided a refreshing break and a unique opportunity for team building and informal knowledge sharing outside the structured learning environment.

The training concluded with a formal certificate awarding ceremony, celebrating the participants' dedication and successful completion of the course. This initiative marks another significant step in strengthening the division's capacity to ensure effective and transparent project implementation across Bangladesh, ultimately contributing to the nation's development goals.
