IMED Concludes Successful Capacity Building Training in Sylhet
A cohort of 27 officials and staff from the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) successfully completed an intensive five-day residential training program in Sylhet from May 21-25, 2024. This initiative, part of the "Capacity Enhancement for Effective Practice of Result Based M&E System in IMED (CEEPRM & ESI)" project, was designed to sharpen skills in project oversight and digital integration.
The comprehensive curriculum covered critical areas of project management, including monitoring frameworks, evaluation techniques, and modern ICT applications. A significant focus was placed on the practical use of the e-PMIS platform, providing participants with hands-on experience in digital project management. The training was graced by the presence of IMED Secretary Mr. Abul Kashem Md. Mohiuddin, who attended as the Chief Guest and lead trainer, underscoring the program's importance.

Beyond the classroom, the residential program fostered a collaborative environment, blending rigorous learning with cultural enrichment. Participants took part in a field visit to the scenic tourist destination of Jaflong and enjoyed a cultural evening, which provided a unique opportunity for team building and informal knowledge sharing outside the structured sessions.

The training concluded with a certificate ceremony, celebrating the successful upskilling of IMED's personnel.
