IMED Successfully Concludes Large-Scale Administrative Training in Cox's Bazar

In a significant step towards modernizing public administration, the final batches of the ‘Training in Office Management, File Management and Online PMIS Software’ program have successfully concluded. Organized by MTI Ltd. in collaboration with the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED), this initiative trained a total of 140 officials under the ‘Strengthening Monitoring and Evaluation Capabilities of IMED (SMECI)’ project.

Final Batches Complete Intensive Training

The comprehensive training series wrapped up with its final two batches at the Galaxy Resort Limited in Cox's Bazar. The second batch, comprising 60 trainees, was followed by the third and final batch of 40 trainees. This phased approach ensured that every participant received focused, high-quality instruction.

Expert Leadership and Practical Software Training

The program was led by a distinguished team from IMED, with Mr. Mohammad Habibul Islam (Project Director) serving as the course director, and Ms. Fatima-Tuz-Johora Thakur (Deputy Project Director) and Mr. Mohammad Kamrul Islam (Deputy Director) acting as course coordinators. They delivered expert lectures and conducted evaluations to assess the trainees' progress.

A key highlight of the training was an elaborate presentation by Mr. Mohammad Kamrul Islam on the Online Project Management Information System (PMIS) software. He provided a detailed demonstration of how the software works, integrating its use with best practices in modern office and file management. This practical session was crucial for equipping officials with the digital tools necessary for efficient project monitoring and reporting.

The successful conclusion of this multi-batch program marks a significant achievement in the SMECI project's goals.
