Eighth Batch of IMED Training Focuses on Cross-Ministerial Project Excellence

The eighth batch of a specialized two-day training on Project Management, Results-Based Monitoring & Evaluation (RBM&E), and e-PMIS was successfully conducted on November 13-14, 2024. Organized by MTI Ltd., this session brought together project directors and officials from various ministries, including Commerce, Liberation War Affairs, and the Economic Relations Division, to enhance cross-governmental project execution capabilities.

The program was inaugurated with a virtual address from Abul Kashem Md. Mohiuddin, Secretary of IMED, who emphasized the critical need for skilled project leadership to drive national development. The curriculum was tailored to address real-world challenges, with deep dives into RBM&E principles and practical, hands-on sessions navigating the e-PMIS digital platform for improved project tracking and reporting.

Throughout the training, expert facilitators from MTI Ltd. fostered an interactive environment, encouraging participants to share experiences and collaboratively problem-solve. The focus remained on equipping officials with the tools and methodologies necessary to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The event concluded by reinforcing the government's commitment to building a culture of accountability and efficiency across all public sector projects.
