IMED's Eleventh Training Batch Strengthens Project Oversight for Economic and Media Authorities

The eleventh batch of the "Capacity Enhancement for Effective Practice of Result Based M&E System in IMED" project concluded a successful two-day training on December 1-2, 2024. Organized by MTI Ltd., the program upskilled project officials from a diverse range of key government bodies, including the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Bangladesh Television (BTV), Bangladesh Betar, and the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC).

The training was inaugurated by Abul Kashem Md. Mohiuddin, Secretary of IMED, who highlighted the critical importance of disciplined project execution for national progress. The curriculum was designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of modern project management, with focused sessions on Results-Based Monitoring & Evaluation (RBM&E) and extensive hands-on training on the e-PMIS application to promote data-driven and transparent project oversight.

Throughout the workshop, interactive discussions and practical exercises fostered a dynamic learning environment, enabling participants to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. The program concluded with a certificate awarding ceremony, where the Secretary commended the officials for their commitment to enhancing their professional skills, which is vital for ensuring the successful implementation of development projects across Bangladesh.
