Fifth Batch of Training on Project Management, RBM&E, and e-PMIS Kicks Off at IMED

The fifth batch of a two-day internal training course, part of IMED’s ongoing Capacity Enhancement project, was successfully held on October 2-3, 2024. Organized by MTI Ltd., the program brought together officers from IMED and various ministries to strengthen their skills in modern project oversight.

The training was inaugurated by Abul Kashem Md. Mohiuddin, Secretary of IMED, who emphasized the critical need for robust project management and accountability in the public sector. The sessions were designed to equip participants with practical tools and knowledge, focusing on Results-Based Monitoring & Evaluation (RBM&E) and the effective use of the e-PMIS application for enhanced efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

Throughout the workshop, interactive discussions and experience-sharing segments fostered a collaborative learning environment. Dr. Md. Manirul Islam Khan, Managing Director of MTI Ltd., encouraged active participation and feedback to continuously refine the training modules. The event culminated in a certificate distribution ceremony, celebrating the participants' commitment to advancing project management standards across Bangladesh.
