IMED Launches Inaugural Project Management Training with MTI Ltd.
The first batch of a landmark two-day training course on Project Management, Results-Based Monitoring & Evaluation (RBM&E), and e-PMIS has successfully commenced for officers of the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED). Organized by Management and Training International Ltd. (MTI Ltd.), this initiative is a key component of the 'Capacity Enhancement for Effective Practice of Result Based M&E System in IMED' project.
The event was inaugurated at the IMED Training Lab by Chief Guest Abul Kashem Md. Mohiuddin, Secretary of IMED. In his opening address, he underscored the pivotal role of effective project execution in national development, stating, “Investments occur where projects exist, and effective project planning and execution are key to achieving development goals.” He also officially launched a new Project Management Guidebook, a comprehensive resource designed to standardize best practices across Bangladesh's public and private sectors.
