Fourth Batch of IMED Project Management Training Successfully Concludes

The fourth batch of the intensive two-day training on Project Management, Results-Based Monitoring & Evaluation (RBM&E), and the e-PMIS application concluded on September 30, 2024. Organized by MTI Ltd., this session is part of IMED’s large-scale Capacity Enhancement project aimed at upskilling officers across 25 planned batches.

The training was inaugurated by Abul Kashem Md. Mohiuddin, Secretary of IMED, who emphasized the government's commitment to enhancing project management standards. He highlighted that the program is designed to equip participants with essential tools for data-driven decision-making, greater accountability, and overcoming common project challenges related to time, cost, and performance.

The core curriculum focused on practical applications of RBM&E principles and navigating the e-PMIS digital platform. Interactive segments, including experience-sharing sessions led by MTI Ltd. and the participants themselves, fostered a dynamic learning environment. Dr. Md. Manirul Islam Khan, Managing Director of MTI Ltd., encouraged this active engagement to ensure the training's relevance and impact. The event concluded with a certificate ceremony, reinforcing the ongoing commitment to elevating public sector project management in Bangladesh.
