IMED Advances Project Oversight Skills with Seventh Training Batch
The seventh batch of the "Capacity Enhancement for Effective Practice of Result Based M&E System in IMED" project successfully concluded its two-day training on November 3-4, 2024. Organized by MTI Ltd., the program equipped officials from IMED and the Planning Commission with advanced skills in Project Management, Results-Based Monitoring & Evaluation (RBM&E), and the e-PMIS application.
The training was inaugurated by Chief Guest Abul Kashem Md. Mohiuddin, Secretary of IMED, who stressed the importance of modernizing project management to achieve national development goals. The sessions focused on practical applications, including RBM&E concepts like Theory of Change (TOC) and hands-on training with the e-PMIS digital platform to enhance transparency and data-driven project oversight.

Throughout the workshop, interactive discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions created a dynamic and collaborative learning environment. The program, facilitated by MTI Ltd., aimed to build a strong foundation for effective project execution and accountability. The training culminated with a certificate distribution ceremony, where the Secretary commended the participants for their commitment to professional development and to improving public sector efficiency.
