IMED Continues Capacity Building with Sixth Project Management Training Batch

The sixth batch of officers from IMED and various ministries completed an intensive two-day training on Project Management, RBM&E, and the e-PMIS platform on October 6-7, 2024. Organized by MTI Ltd., this session is a key part of the ongoing 25-batch Capacity Enhancement project designed to elevate project execution standards nationwide.

The training was inaugurated by Abul Kashem Md. Mohiuddin, Secretary of IMED, who emphasized that “projects are the engine of progress, and ensuring their success requires both proper planning and execution.” The curriculum was structured to provide participants with practical skills in Results-Based Monitoring and Management, alongside hands-on training with the e-PMIS digital platform to promote transparency and data-driven decision-making.

Interactive sessions, including experience sharing led by Dr. Md. Manirul Islam Khan, Managing Director of MTI Ltd., and the participants, created a collaborative learning atmosphere. The training concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, marking another successful step in strengthening the country’s public sector project management capabilities.
