Tenth IMED Training Batch Enhances Project Skills for Key Economic and Development Authorities

The tenth batch of the "Capacity Enhancement for Effective Practice of Result Based M&E System in IMED" project successfully concluded its two-day training on November 19-20, 2024. Organized by MTI Ltd., the program gathered a diverse group of officials from crucial national bodies, including the BEPZA, BIDA, PPP Authority, National Skills Development Authority, and the Ministry of Food.

The training was focused on strengthening the core competencies required for modern project execution. Participants delved into the principles of Project Management and Results-Based Monitoring & Evaluation (RBM&E) through interactive academic sessions. A key component was the hands-on training with the e-PMIS application, a digital tool designed to enhance data-driven decision-making and improve project transparency across government agencies.

The event was graced by the presence of Abul Kashem Md. Mohiuddin, Secretary of IMED, who addressed the participants during the closing ceremony. He highlighted the government's commitment to building a culture of efficiency and accountability in project implementation. The training concluded with the awarding of certificates, recognizing the dedication of the officials to mastering the tools and techniques essential for driving Bangladesh's development forward.
