IMED Strengthens Project Management Capacity with Third Training Batch

The third batch of a two-day training on Project Management, RBM&E, and the e-PMIS application concluded on September 26, 2024. Organized by MTI Ltd., this session is part of a comprehensive 25-batch series under IMED’s ongoing Capacity Enhancement project.

Inaugurating the workshop, Abul Kashem Md. Mohiuddin, Secretary of IMED, stated, “Projects are the engine of progress, and ensuring their success requires both proper planning and execution.” The training was designed to enhance organizational performance and accountability by equipping officers with modern project management tools, including the e-PMIS digital platform and the newly rolled-out Project Management Guidebook.

The curriculum focused on Results-Based Monitoring and Management principles, fostering a data-driven approach to project execution. Interactive sessions, including experience sharing facilitated by Dr. Md. Manirul Islam Khan, Managing Director of MTI Ltd., encouraged active participation and collaborative problem-solving. The training concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, reaffirming the government’s commitment to elevating project management standards across the public sector.
