IMED's 21st Training Batch Boosts Project Skills for Cultural, Welfare, and Manpower Officials

The twenty-first batch of the IMED's flagship capacity-building program successfully concluded its two-day training on March 10-11, 2025. Organized by MTI Ltd., the session brought together a diverse group of project officials from key development sectors, including the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Ministry of Social Welfare, Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, and the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET).

The training was graced by Chief Guest Md. Tajul Islam, Secretary of IMED, who addressed the participants and underscored the importance of skilled project leadership in implementing projects that are vital for cultural preservation, social protection, and skilled manpower development. The curriculum provided a deep dive into modern Project Management, Results-Based Monitoring & Evaluation (RBM&E), and featured comprehensive hands-on training with the e-PMIS platform to enhance transparency and accountability.

Throughout the workshop, expert trainers from MTI Ltd. facilitated an interactive and collaborative learning environment where officials could share experiences and apply new methodologies to their specific project contexts. The program was designed to equip them with the necessary tools to navigate the complexities of project implementation effectively. The event concluded with a certificate awarding ceremony, celebrating the participants' commitment to professional development and their crucial role in the nation's progress.
