IMED's 22nd Training Batch Sharpens Project Management Skills for Health Sector Officials

The twenty-second batch of the IMED's capacity enhancement initiative concluded a successful two-day training on March 12-13, 2025. Organized by MTI Ltd., this session was specifically targeted at project officials from the Health Services Division and its various directorates, focusing on critical projects related to hospital expansion, medical college development, and public health services.

The program was graced by Chief Guest Md. Tajul Islam, Secretary of IMED, who emphasized the paramount importance of timely and efficient execution of health sector projects for the well-being of the nation. The curriculum was designed to address the unique challenges of the health sector, providing in-depth training on Project Management, Results-Based Monitoring & Evaluation (RBM&E), and extensive hands-on experience with the e-PMIS platform to ensure transparency and accountability.

Throughout the workshop, participants engaged in dynamic academic sessions, case studies, and collaborative discussions facilitated by MTI Ltd.'s expert trainers. The interactive environment enabled officials to apply modern project management tools and methodologies to their specific projects, from hospital construction to health system strengthening. The training concluded with a certificate awarding ceremony, celebrating the participants' commitment to enhancing their skills to improve healthcare infrastructure and service delivery across Bangladesh.
