Archiving Valor: MTI's Monumental Task to Document 80,000 Freedom Fighter Stories

In one of the most significant historical preservation projects in Bangladesh's history, the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs has launched the "Ballad of the Heroic Voices" project. MTI Ltd. is profoundly honored to have been selected as the consulting firm tasked with the monumental undertaking of conducting 80,000 short video documentary interviews, capturing the battlefield memories of individual brave freedom fighters for a national e-archive.

A Mission to Preserve History in Their Own Words

With over fifty years passed since independence, the nation faces a race against time to record the firsthand accounts of the courageous freedom fighters who gave their lives to free the nation. This project aims to preserve the memory of their victory, commemorate the contribution of the "Biranganas," and accurately recount the history of the liberation war for both current and future generations.

A Comprehensive and Professional Methodology

To produce 80,000 high-quality documentaries, MTI Ltd. has deployed a systematic, three-stage production process involving a large team of trained professionals:

• Pre-Production: Our team conducts extensive research, develops storyboards, identifies interview locations, and prepares structured interview questions based on a Ministry-approved questionnaire.
• Production: Experienced film crews, equipped with professional gear including RED EPIC cameras and high-quality audio equipment, conduct respectful and in-depth interviews across the country.
• Post-Production: Skilled editors use archival footage, photographs, and animations to edit the interviews into compelling, factually accurate, and visually appealing short video documentaries for release on YouTube.

Remarkable Progress Across the Nation

The video shooting commenced on July 27, 2023. As of November 2023, MTI has already made significant progress, having completed **10,185 video interviews** in numerous districts, including Satkhira, Khulna, Jashore, Bagerhat, Jhenaidah, Kushtia, Narail, and Barguna, with work ongoing in Faridpur and Patuakhali.
